The Gathering Church is a community of believers centered around the presence of Jesus. We believe in a God who is full of endless love, mercy, and grace that is available to everyone. The mandate on our church is not to figure you out or fix you - it is to figure out how we can best return the Love that we have so freely received from God through Christ Jesus.

Gene and Karen Wolfenbarger are the founding and Senior Leaders of The Gathering Church. Pastor Gene has been serving the Kingdom of God in full-time ministry for nearly four decades. His life is marked by deep intimacy with the Lord and obedience to fulfilling the mandate the Lord has given Him.
VISION STATEMENT
The Gathering is a House of Prayer for All Nations,
Bringing the Kingdom of Heaven into the Earth.
We are passionate about creating safe and fun environments from birth-5th grade. We are striving to raise a generation who enter in relationship with Jesus early.
In GStudents, our primary goal is simple - to equip, empower, and unleash students to change the world around them. We frequently refer to them as Atmosphere Changers: people who change the environment around them instead of their environment changing them.

We know that God has given everyone gifts and skills (1 Peter 4:10). We believe we are fulfilled when we use these gifts and skills for the Kingdom, and we encourage everyone to find an area to partner with us in ministry. We take serious the mandate to push the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. We have many avenues in which we do this - locally and internationally. Jesus said life was all about loving Him and then, from that overflow, love others. That is how we spread The Gospel, by loving first.
In our Small Groups, we go on the adventure of discovering how God has wired us, and developing our personal gifts. God has a plan for each one of our lives, and we use our Small Groups as a way for each person to learn and about their destiny and purpose.
Freedom is about IDENTITY…not issues! Our Freedom836 class was designed to change the way we think and the way we see ourselves. Our identity is wrapped up in who we are in Christ, NOT what we have done. Freedom is a journey. Freedom is for you! So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
