What is The Discipleship Track?
We are committing to a discipleship path for our church family that leads to a transformed life. After you have connected with our church family and have a desire to grow even more, we have a path designed to help you lead a transformed life of victory.
Beyond regular church attendance, The Gathering Church offers a Discipleship Track designed to support and strengthen your spiritual growth. The following steps are for those with a growing hunger to pursue deeper intimacy with the Lord. These steps require greater commitment and intention, and not every season allows for this level of investment. When you’re ready, we invite you to step in.
Step One
This step begins a focused journey of deepening intimacy with the Father, Jesus,
and the Holy Spirit—primarily through prayer. A vibrant prayer life is essential for
walking victoriously in our Kingdom calling.
After an initial assessment, participants are paired with a spiritual coach who will
walk with them for up to three years, helping establish prayer as the most dynamic
and life-giving relationship in their lives.
A healthy prayer life often brings transformation to every other area—marriage,
family, work, relationships, emotions, finances, and even physical well-being—as
we learn to follow Jesus daily.

STEP TWO: "The Prayer" Training
Once a personal prayer rhythm is established, participants receive focused training on praying The Lord’s Prayer. This teaching highlights our relationship with the Father and the all-encompassing power of this prayer for individuals, communities, and nations. *This step concludes with a 40-day personal prayer challenge.*
STEP THREE: “The Prayer” Corporate Gatherings
With the power of The Lord’s Prayer activated personally, participants then gather to pray together in unity. These gatherings emphasize the exponential power of corporate prayer and are distinct from our regular prayer meetings.
STEP FOUR: Beyond The Amen
Participants meet again with their coach to assess growth, make adjustments, and strengthen key Kingdom principles for a victorious life, including; the word of God, our words, faith, giving, fasting, worship, and hearing God. As believers embrace God’s ways, transformed lives become a testimony!
Step Five
Our prayer is that many who walk this path will one day lead others toward a transformed life in Christ, continuing the cycle of discipleship
Total Timeline & Availability
Steps 1-5 typically take approximately six months to complete. Coaches remain available for up to three years for ongoing support. If someone needs to pause at any time, they are welcome to rejoin at Step 1 when ready. This discipleship process is designed to be accessible to all who desire it, offered through in-person meetings, small groups, one-on-one coaching, video, and Zoom, as appropriate.
