Wednesday is prayer is closed from October 1st - November 5th for our house of prayer team to attend training.

Who We Are
Pastor Gene & Karen Wolfenbarger answered a divine calling to build a house of prayer centered on God’s presence, prayer, and power. From humble beginnings in community spaces to becoming a thriving family in Knoxville, The Gathering Church has been a testament to God’s grace and purpose. Through every season, our focus remains clear: to love and grow together as a family under Christ.

The most powerful thing a believer can learn is the power of prayer and live in constant communion with the Father. Many struggle in this area, but the School of Prayer is here to guide you.
Through biblical instruction, we teach the art of prayer, impart the power, protection, and purpose of prayer, and help you understand the Church as a house of prayer. This is more than learning—it’s about transformation, equipping you to live with authority, joy, and victory.
